Rosenberg Real Estate

The City of Rosenberg is part of a growing residential and economic corridor west of Sugar Land in Fort Bend County. With a population of near 30,000, Rosenberg is the larger of the Richmond-Rosenberg Area, though Richmond remains the seat of the county. Bordered by the winding Brazos River to the north and highway 59 to the west, Rosenberg retains the rugged history and feel of the west, the hospitality of small town Texas and the big city conveniences of nearby Houston.

The median income for a household in the city is $39,965. With a low cost of living and booming residential construction, homes in and around the Richmond-Rosenberg area start in the $110's for starter homes. In the more exclusive resort communities, prices can easily top $500,000.

An active economic development council is busy spreading the word about the Richmond-Rosenberg Area, focusing on retention and expansion of existing businesses, as well as attracting new businesses and community development. In addition to the respite Rosenberg offers from big city life, the city has more than a few attractions of its own to keep residents busy and tourist coming back. Museums, a quaint antiques district, Art Deco theater, and diverse restaurant fare from mouthwatering barbecue to cheesy enchiladas enhance the unique charm of the Richmond-Rosenberg Area.

Nature lovers come for the bird watching trails; Anglers come for the bass-stocked lakes; and families delight in Richmond's active theatre productions, outdoor concerts, festivals and year-round community events. Nearby Brazos Bend State Park supports an abundant and diverse wildlife population and is one of Texas most popular. With campgrounds located among huge, moss-draped live oaks, and natural trails that dart in and out among lakes and through bottomland hardwood forests of oaks and pecans, it's easy to see why.

Whether for a weekend getaway or permanent relocation, Rosenberg offers the perfect blend of historic down-home charm, parks and open space with convenient access to the spoils of the big city without all the headaches.
